Paid Products Terms

These terms apply to Medu Store products, premium notes, question-bank access, courses, fixed-term access, and recurring course subscriptions.

Scope Before ordering Order formation PayPal Bankak Currency and fees Delivery and access Subscriptions Licence Refunds Payment problems Changes Support

1. Scope and eligibility

These terms supplement the Medu Terms of Service. You must be at least 18 and legally able to make the purchase. Unless a product page clearly identifies a different supplier, the Medu operator supplies the Medu-branded digital product.

The Course and Content Terms add rules for courses, notes, and examination question banks. The MEDUPRO Subscription Terms govern MEDUPRO. A clear product-specific term shown before payment controls over a conflicting general statement here.

2. Information shown before ordering

Before payment, the product page or checkout should identify the product, main features, format, compatibility requirements, access period, price, currency, customer-facing fees, payment method, whether billing recurs, refund window, and any important delivery restriction. Review that information and correct errors before approving payment.

Images, exchange-rate displays, and previews are illustrative. The checkout total and charged currency shown immediately before you approve payment control. If required information is missing or unclear, do not pay; contact support first.

3. Order formation and acceptance

Adding an item to a cart or submitting payment proof does not reserve stock or guarantee acceptance. An order is accepted when PayPal payment is captured and Medu confirms the order, or when a Bankak transfer is manually verified and approved. Medu may refuse or cancel an order affected by a clear pricing error, unavailable content or stock, duplicate order, sanctions or legal restrictions, suspected fraud, reused payment proof, or a technical error.

If Medu cancels after collecting money, Medu will initiate an appropriate refund or reversal. A checkout marked sandbox, test, demo, or preview is not a real purchase and does not create paid access unless Medu expressly confirms otherwise.

4. PayPal and card payments

  • PayPal processes PayPal-account and eligible debit or credit card payments. Card availability depends on PayPal and the buyer's location.
  • Medu sends PayPal the order amount, currency, description, internal reference, and information needed to verify and fulfil the transaction.
  • PayPal receives card and PayPal credentials directly. Medu does not store complete card numbers, CVVs, PayPal passwords, or payment OTPs.
  • A one-time PayPal order is captured once. A recurring PayPal subscription renews only if checkout clearly states the price and frequency and you authorize the billing agreement.
  • PayPal may apply its own eligibility, fraud, currency-conversion, card, or account rules under its terms.

5. Bankak manual payments

Bankak is a separate bank-transfer service. Send only the exact amount and reference requested at checkout. Medu asks for the 11-digit transaction ID and may compare it with transfer records. Do not provide a password, PIN, OTP, complete bank statement, or unrelated financial information.

Bankak submissions are reviewed manually. Access begins only after approval, which may take time. A Bankak payment buys the one-time or fixed access period shown at checkout and never creates automatic renewal. To continue after expiry, you must make and obtain approval for a new payment. False, altered, duplicate, or reused proof may be rejected and may lead to an account restriction.

6. Currency, conversion, taxes, and fees

Medu may display estimated USD, SAR, SDG, EGP, or other currency equivalents. Unless checkout states otherwise, PayPal currently processes the final online charge in USD and shows the exact amount before approval. Bankak is normally used for the displayed SDG amount.

PayPal and Bankak use the same Medu merchant-tax treatment; choosing a payment method does not create or remove a tax. While the operator resides and operates from Saudi Arabia, Medu adds Saudi VAT only if the operator is registered or required to collect it. The checkout will identify any VAT rate and amount before approval; where Medu is not registered to collect VAT, no Saudi VAT is added.

Rates can change between display and payment. Your bank or provider may charge conversion, cross-border, card, transfer, or other fees that Medu does not control. Customer-location VAT, GST, sales tax, withholding, duties, or reporting may still apply under mandatory law. If the operator relocates to Sudan or elsewhere, live checkout will require a renewed tax and payment-provider review rather than automatically carrying forward the Saudi setting.

7. Digital delivery and access

Delivery is normally immediate after verified online payment and follows manual approval for Bankak. Delivery can mean account entitlement, a private order page, a download, a code, a course enrolment, or a private link. Keep private credentials and content secure.

Contact support promptly if access is missing, invalid, materially different from the description, or technically unusable. Medu may provide a repair, replacement, access extension, re-performance, refund, or other remedy appropriate to the issue and mandatory law.

8. Recurring course or content subscriptions

A course or content plan is recurring only when the checkout expressly labels it a subscription and states the renewal price and frequency. By approving it through PayPal, you authorize PayPal to charge the selected funding method at each renewal until cancellation. Bankak never renews automatically.

You may cancel a PayPal subscription through the Medu account control, where available, or through PayPal. Cancellation stops future renewals and normally leaves access active until the paid period ends. If payment fails, Medu or PayPal may retry, notify you, limit access, or end the subscription. Medu will give advance notice of a material price change where required; the new price will not be charged without the notice or consent required by applicable law.

9. Personal study licence

Unless the product page clearly says otherwise, payment grants one named user a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the product for personal, non-commercial study during the stated access period. It does not transfer ownership or copyright.

You may not resell, share account access, distribute downloads, publish private links, remove rights notices, scrape, create a competing database, train an AI model on protected content, or make commercial use without written permission. Reasonable personal notes and limited quotation allowed by law remain permitted.

10. Cancellations, refunds, and mandatory rights

The product page may offer no standard change-of-mind window or a 7-, 15-, or 30-day request window. That commercial window does not remove remedies for duplicate charges, non-delivery, material misdescription, or other rights that applicable law makes mandatory.

Digital content may be supplied immediately after payment. Where local law requires separate consent or acknowledgement before immediate supply affects a cancellation right, Medu must obtain it separately; accepting these general terms alone does not waive a mandatory right. See the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

11. Payment disputes and chargebacks

Contact Medu first so it can investigate a missing entitlement, duplicate charge, cancellation, or refund. This does not remove your right to contact PayPal, your bank, or a consumer authority. Do not knowingly make a false chargeback or payment claim. Medu may provide the provider with relevant order, acceptance, delivery, usage, and communication records to respond to a dispute.

12. Product changes, availability, and liability

Medu may update content for accuracy, security, exam changes, or usability. A paid product will not be materially reduced during a promised access term without a reasonable substitute, extension, price adjustment, refund, or other remedy where required. Scheduled live sessions may be reasonably rescheduled.

The educational and liability limits in the Terms of Service apply. Nothing here excludes a warranty, remedy, or liability that applicable law does not allow Medu to exclude.

13. Records, policy changes, and support

Medu records the policy version accepted with an order where the checkout supports it. Changes apply to future orders and renewals after reasonable notice; they do not retroactively remove an accrued right.

Payment, delivery, cancellation, or refund questions: support@medu.courses. Signed-in users may submit a private Customer Support ticket. Include the Medu order reference, but never send a password, OTP, CVV, or complete card number.
