Refund and Cancellation Policy

This policy covers Medu Store products, courses, notes, question banks, course subscriptions, and MEDUPRO.

Summary Product windows Qualifying problems Normally excluded Subscriptions Digital rights How to request Review Approved refunds Contact

1. Plain-English summary

  • Cancelling a recurring plan stops future renewals; it does not automatically refund a period already started.
  • A one-time or fixed-term product follows the refund window shown on its product page and stored with the order.
  • Bankak never renews automatically. A pending Bankak submission is not approved access.
  • Duplicate charges, non-delivery, invalid access, and material misdescription may qualify even when no standard change-of-mind window is offered.
  • Mandatory rights under applicable law are never removed by a "no refunds" label.

2. Product-specific request windows

A product may display no standard change-of-mind refund, or a 7-, 15-, or 30-day request window. The window begins when payment is completed and access or private delivery is made available, unless the product page or mandatory law states otherwise. The order record should preserve the window and policy version accepted.

A request within a commercial window is reviewed under this policy and is not automatic approval. A "no standard refund" product can still qualify under section 3 or mandatory law.

3. Problems that may qualify

  • You were charged more than once for one intended purchase.
  • Medu collected payment but did not deliver the promised access within a reasonable time.
  • The delivered link, code, download, course, note, or question bank is invalid or unusable and Medu cannot repair or replace it within a reasonable time.
  • The product is materially different from the description shown before payment.
  • A substantial paid course component is cancelled and not reasonably rescheduled or replaced.
  • MEDUPRO or subscription access has a material, prolonged failure that Medu cannot correct.
  • A product-specific guarantee applies.
  • Applicable consumer law requires cancellation, refund, price reduction, re-performance, or another remedy.

Where reasonable, Medu may first offer repair, replacement, re-performance, restored access, or an extension. This does not delay or replace a remedy that applicable law requires immediately.

4. Reasons normally not covered by Medu's voluntary policy

  • A change-of-mind request outside the displayed voluntary window.
  • Failure to cancel a clearly disclosed recurring PayPal subscription before renewal.
  • Not attending a live session that took place as described, where a recording or replacement was not promised.
  • Dissatisfaction with an exam score, academic result, or learning outcome that Medu did not guarantee.
  • Loss of access caused by credential sharing, redistribution, fraud, or another serious policy violation.
  • Incompatibility with a device or third-party service where the requirement was clearly disclosed before purchase.
  • A request supported by false information, reused Bankak proof, or an abusive payment claim.

These exclusions do not override a non-waivable legal right or apply where Medu caused the relevant problem.

5. Subscription cancellation

PayPal recurring plans: cancel through Medu's cancellation control, where available, or directly in PayPal. Cancellation stops future billing and normally preserves access until the current period ends. Deleting the app, closing a browser, or not using Medu does not cancel PayPal billing.

MEDUPRO trial: cancel before the 1-day trial ends to avoid the first monthly charge. The PayPal approval screen controls the exact trial and billing schedule.

Bankak: approved access lasts only for the displayed period, including 30 days for MEDUPRO, and then expires. There is no recurring agreement to cancel.

If you are charged after a timely confirmed cancellation, contact Medu promptly with the cancellation and transaction references.

6. Immediate digital supply and local cancellation rights

Medu commonly provides digital content or access immediately after payment. Some countries provide a cooling-off or cancellation right and allow that right to be affected only after specific information, express consent to immediate supply, and a separate acknowledgement.

Accepting Medu's general terms alone does not waive a mandatory cancellation right. If the checkout does not collect the consent or acknowledgement required in your location, Medu will not rely on a waiver that was not validly obtained. Where mandatory law gives you a stronger or longer remedy, that law controls.

7. How to request help or a refund

Use "Request refund" on the private order page when available, submit a signed-in Customer Support ticket, or email support@medu.courses. Include:

  • your Medu account email;
  • the Medu order or subscription reference;
  • the product and payment date;
  • a concise explanation and safe evidence of the problem; and
  • the remedy you request.

Never send a password, OTP, CVV, full card number, PayPal login, or Bankak PIN. A Bankak refund may require verified transfer details through a private channel, but Medu will request only what is reasonably necessary.

8. Review process

Medu may review the order, policy version, payment and delivery status, access logs, support history, cancellation timestamp, product description, prior repair or replacement, and the evidence you provide. Medu may ask a reasonable follow-up question or verify identity.

Medu will acknowledge and decide requests without undue delay and within any deadline required by applicable law. A rejection will include a brief reason and, where applicable, a way to provide new evidence or appeal. Contacting Medu first does not remove your right to use PayPal, a bank dispute process, court, or consumer authority.

9. Approved refunds and access

Where possible, PayPal or card payments are refunded to the original method. Provider and bank processing times are outside Medu's control. Bankak refunds require a manually verified transfer, and Medu will provide a private confirmation reference. Currency movements and provider fees are handled under provider rules and applicable law.

A full refund ends the associated licence and entitlement. Medu may disable the content, download, course, question bank, or subscription access. A partial refund or price reduction may reduce or leave access as stated in the decision.

10. Mandatory rights and contact

This policy adds voluntary remedies and does not exclude a warranty, cooling-off right, refund, or other consumer protection that cannot legally be waived.
