Medical Education and AI Disclaimer
Medu is an adult learning platform. It is not a clinical service, emergency service, or examination authority.
1. Medical education only
Medu provides general educational content and study tools for adults in or interested in the medical field. Content is not individualized medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, triage, professional supervision, or a substitute for training, institutional policy, or independent clinical judgment.
Using Medu does not create a doctor-patient, clinician-patient, teacher-student fiduciary, or other professional-care relationship with Medu, an instructor, contributor, sponsor, or another user.
2. No emergency service
Do not use Medu for an emergency, crisis, poisoning, urgent symptom, or time-sensitive clinical decision. Contact the emergency number or qualified service available where the person is located. Medu does not continuously monitor posts, messages, voice rooms, or AI requests and cannot dispatch help.
3. Verify before clinical use
Medical science, drug labels, doses, guidelines, contraindications, diagnostic criteria, and local protocols change and vary by patient and jurisdiction. Check important information against current primary and official sources, your institution's policy, and an appropriately qualified professional.
Never use a Medu note, question explanation, course statement, community post, calculator, game, transcript, or AI response as the sole basis for patient care. Medu makes no representation that content satisfies a particular hospital, licensing, prescribing, or regulatory requirement.
4. AI tools can be wrong
AI output may invent facts or citations, misunderstand an image or accent, omit context, reproduce bias, use outdated information, or sound more certain than the evidence supports. A transcript may mishear drug names, doses, or negation. Image analysis may misread labels or clinical findings. Always compare the source and verify critical claims.
AI tools are not validated medical devices and must not be used to identify a real person, make a definitive patient diagnosis, select patient-specific treatment, replace a clinician, or make an automated professional or academic decision about someone.
5. Adult and potentially graphic medical imagery
Medu is restricted to users aged 18 or older. Legitimate educational material may show anatomy, pathology, surgery, trauma, blood, injury, death, reproductive health, genital anatomy, skin conditions, radiology, or other graphic or sensitive subjects.
Contributors must use only lawfully obtained and appropriately de-identified or authorized material. Graphic material must have educational purpose and context. Exploitative, voyeuristic, non-consensual, or patient-identifying imagery is prohibited. Stop viewing and report material that appears inappropriate or improperly disclosed.
6. Do not submit identifiable patient information
Do not enter or upload a patient's name, face, voice, record number, contact information, exact dates, unredacted documents, unique clinical history, or other data that could identify the person. Medu is not an electronic health record and does not offer a healthcare data-processing agreement.
Use fictional, public, properly licensed, or sufficiently de-identified educational cases. You are responsible for professional confidentiality and any permission required for material you submit.
7. Examination preparation
Practice scores, progress estimates, AI feedback, and readiness indicators are educational only. Medu does not guarantee eligibility, admission, certification, a pass, a score increase, or any official result.
Do not submit or distribute recalled or confidential live-examination material. Medu's independent practice questions are not official exam questions. See the Copyright and Exam Integrity Policy.
8. Independent platform
Medu is not a government, ministry, university, medical school, healthcare provider, hospital, professional regulator, licensing body, exam authority, or accreditation organization. References to an institution, guideline, exam, product, or professional title do not imply affiliation, approval, or endorsement unless Medu clearly documents an authorized relationship.

9. Corrections and safety reports
Report a suspected medical error, unsafe recommendation, exposed patient identity, misleading credential, or inappropriate image to support@medu.courses. Include the page or content reference and explain the concern without adding unnecessary patient data.
